Learn more about me

When I think about who I am as a massage therapist and why I love the work I do, I am often thinking about the ways in which accessing my body, my spirituality, and my queerness has transformed my life. For me these things are inextricably tied to each other, and I am passionate about creating space for other people to explore what healing looks like through that lens.

I believe that bodywork has the potential to transform our relationships with our bodies, for myself massage and bodywork has been an instrumental tool for me in repairing my relationship to my body after many years of chronic pain, and for managing the symptoms I currently live with.

I began my journey into providing bodywork with the goals of making this care accessible to the people in my community who have otherwise been excluded from traditional wellness spaces. My practice is centered on and tailored to queer and trans people, fat people, BIPOC people, people with chronic illness, and people who have been told that the trauma they hold in their bodies is too great to overcome.

When I was beginning my massage education in 2020 I knew that I wanted to find a way to incorporate my 10 plus years of Tarot and Astrology studies into my work, and the more I worked on my friends and classmates in school the more I found myself turning to words from those practices to describe the energy that moves around and exists in our bodies. I am excited to be able to incorporate this with clients in any capacity, and have found that it is such a deep and connecting way to tap into the universe and the experience we are creating together, and to discover new ways to utilize these tools to find peace, love, understanding, and joy for our bodies.

In my practice I utilize integrative relaxation techniques, deep tissue, craniosacral therapy, silicone cupping, and tarot & astrology led energy work. In all of these modalities I am committed to being trauma informed and creating a space for folks to listen to their bodies in a system that tells us to do the opposite.
